Moroccan Princess Lala Emina wounded a brown bear during her hunting session in Bosnia. The bear was found the other day and killed at a distance of about 2 km from the Princess of hunting shooting stand. The wounded bear was brutally shot to death with a dozen bullets. The same evening, the Minister of Justice of RS Dzerald Selman killed the bear hunting in second stand, apparently this is a capital specimen of brown bears. This is the third victim of the passionate bear hunters and politician in this year in the forests of Sipovo. Radmanovic in fact killed a bear this year in April. This approach to hunt is enabled by local politicians and powerful Sipovo, which normally decide about everything regarding life and death of bears on the expense of all citizens in general.

Because of the negative examples from the very top, the protection of animals cannot function in Bosnia. We should not be surprised why the law on cultural protection and animal welfare in BiH and the RS as well is just a dead letter. The divisors of justice unfortunately still are avid hunters.

This young bear is an orphan, whose mother was killed in the spring in the Sipovo. He spends his young life in captivity in a dozen square meters of the Banja Luka prison for animals, which certainly is not the place for this sad bear.
